MINNEAPOLIS - The Blake girls' hockey team defeated Rogers 7-3 in the Section 5A semifinal matchup at Parade Ice Arena.
The Bears took control of this game just three minutes into the first period when Karlie Lund scored on a wrist shot to give Blake a one goal lead. The Bears wasted no time and just a few minutes later, Ms. Hockey semifinalist Dani Cameranesi scored to give Blake a two goal lead. Cameranesi added two more goals for a hat trick as Blake won easily 7-3.
