BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Bloomington Kennedy girls' basketball team defeated Eden Prairie 66-31 for a crucial early season victory.
Bloomington Kennedy broke the game open early in the second half, knocking off the Eagles at home. Jade Martin scored on a tough layup, while drawing the foul, and completed the three point play to put Kennedy up 17 points. Martin excelled defensively as well, as the Kennedy defense swarmed Eden Prairie players all game long. Kennedy opened up the second half on a 15-0 run to pull away from Eden Prairie.
