Girls basketball: Bloomington Kennedy 49, Lakeville North 33

LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The Bloomington Kennedy girls' basketball team defeated Lakeville North 49-33 Tuesday night.

It was a big showdown between two South Suburban Conference rivals as the top-ranked Eagles traveled to Lakeville. The Eagles started the game strong behind the play of Tonoia Wade but the Panthers kept it close throughout. Simone Kolander tried to keep the Panthers in the game but the Eagles were too much down the stretch as Kennedy won 49-33.
