Eden Prairie 42, Hopkins 21

HOPKINS, Minn. - One of the best games in the state this week was a Lake Conference battle between two undefeated teams, Eden Prairie and Hopkins.

For awhile, this game was relatively close.

The Eagles held a slim 7-0 lead after the 1st quarter. Then in the 2nd, both teams got the offense going. Eden Prairie scored 3 times, while Hopkins scored twice. And at the half, the Eagles led 28-14.

The 3rd quarter was where Eden Prairie really put this game away. They scored 2 more touchdowns while keeping Hopkins off the board.

And when the final horn sounded, Eden Prairie keeps rolling as they beat Hopkins 42-21.

Eden Prairie stays perfect this year, moving to 4-0, while Hopkins suffers their first loss and they're now 4-1.
