Central 24, Washburn 21

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Paul Central football team won the Twin Cities Championship with their 24-21 win over Minneapolis Washburn.

Washburn scored on a great pass from Marley Mathewson to Jason Williams for the early touchdown but the Minutemen wouldn't go down without a fight. Central's Elijah Campbell threw a touchdown pass to Theo Haslow and Campbell converted the two point conversion to tie the game at 21. Central's Kahdeem Turner kicked the game winning field goal to help the Minutemen win the Twin Cities Championship 24-21.
