Boys hockey: St. Thomas Academy 6, Totino-Grace 1

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - The St. Thomas Academy boys' hockey team defeated Totino-Grace 6-1.

It was a battle of two of the top teams in the state but it was all Cadets from the start of the game. St. Thomas Academy broke the game open in the second period when Alex Johnson scored on a breakaway to give the Cadets a 5-1 lead. St. Thomas Academy added another goal late and showed why they are the top team in the state.
