NEW HOPE, Minn. - The Armstrong boys' hockey team defeated rival Cooper 9-2 in the opening round of the Section 6-2A tournament.
It was all Falcons in this one as Armstrong advanced to the section quarterfinals with ease. Cole Goergen scored in the second period to extend the Falcons lead and they would keep pushing the momentum. Cory Gilbert added another goal shortly after and the Falcons win easily 9-2.
