MINNETONKA, Minn. - The Minnetonka boys' basketball team defeated Hopkins in a showdown of two top-five ranked teams.
The Royals started the game off strong behind the play of Stephon Sharp and Jake Wright. The two teammates led the Royals to a first half lead with Wright scoring 15 of the Royals 27 points. But the Skippers made a comeback in the second half and showed why they were so highly ranked. Minnetonka used a big second half to come back and beat Hopkins 73-61.
