Boys basketball: Lakeville North 68, Rosemount 54

LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The Lakeville North boys' basketball team defeated rival Rosemount 68-54 Friday night.

It was a big battle in the South Suburban Conference as the Panthers and Irish looked to gain a crucial conference win. Lakeville North jumped out to a quick lead early in the first half but the Irish mounted a comeback and kept the game close throughout. The eighth ranked Panthers took care of business in the second half and closed out the game with a 68-54 victory.
