MINNETONKA, Minn. - The Apple Valley boys' basketball team got a big road win over Minnetonka Tuesday night.
Apple Valley star point guard Tyus Jones led the way for the Eagles, scoring a game high 36 points on the night as Jones was on display in front of many collegiate coaches, who traveled to watch the state's top prospect. The Skippers kept the game close and took the lead for a little while in the game but the Eagles were too much. Jones added 7 assists as well to help lead Apple Valley to the 82-68 victory.
