LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The Apple Valley boys' basketball team got a bog road win over Lakeville North 79-75 in overtime.
It was a back-and- forth battle all game long as the Eagles and Panthers showed off their skills in a matchup of some of the best teams in the state. Panther's junior guard J.P. Macura led Lakeville North with 31 points. Apple Valley star Tyus Jones set the school's all-time scoring mark as he directed the Eagles offense throughout the game. After the game was sent into overtime, the Eagles were able to squeak out the close victory on the road.
