ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Blake girls' hockey team upset top-seeded Warroad 7-2 to win the Class-A state championship.
Freshman forward Carly Bullock scored two goals to help lead the Bears to their fourth state title. Sophomore forward Karlie Lund led the Bears throughout the tournament, tallying 10 points while Ms. Hockey finalist Dani Cameranesi had seven points respectively. Senior goalie Tori Johnson had 19 saves for the Bears in the championship game.
Senior forward Lisa Marvin led Warroad with nine points during the tournament while goalies Dayton Hilgert and Danielle Knott stopped 19 shots in the title match.
