MACON - The Macon Touchdown Club "back of the week" is Northeast's, Davion Anderson. The senior QB/DB was 8 of 15 for 120 yards passing with 60 yards rushing and a TD. On defense he had 6 tackles and 2 interceptions one for a pick 6 against Monticello.

His teammate Quinterrius Harvey is the "lineman of the week". The sophomore linebacker had 13 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 tackles for a loss to help keep the Raiders undefeated at 4-0.

The "special teams player of the week" is Howards Kyle Pioli. The freshman punter averaged 33 yards across 7 punts with a long of 42 in a loss against Mary Persons.

The guest speaker Monday was Head of SEC Officials Steve Shaw. Shaw has officiated in the Southeastern Conference for more than 15 years and has worked 4 SEC championship games, 8 BCS bowls and two national championships. Prior to the SEC, Shaw worked for 6 seasons in the Gulf South Conference and 14 years as a high school ref.

Another man who wears the stripes was also made the center of attention. Central Georgia high school referee Rusty Wynn. Wynn has been covering high school games since 1974 and says he will call it quits after the season, making it an even 40 year career. Wynn has been a white hat for 36 of those seasons, officiating in 7 state championships over that stretch. Shaw presented Wynn with an honorary SEC coin for his efforts on the grid iron. Wynn says the time is now.

It's been good, it's been great. I've made a lot of good friends. I've had some good experiences. As officials we work as a team and I've had some real good crews that have helped. Each game I try to get better and I want to thank all my fellow officials that have pushed me to be the best that I can be. It's been fun.

Wynn says he will go strong the rest of the year, he and his crew have a big contest Friday night, with Mary Persons and Westside.
