The countdown to high school football is just under two months away and some central georgia programs got an early look at the competition Thursday morning.
First year Bleckley County head football coach Tracy White hosted the Royals 7-on-7 passing camp at Royals Stadium as well as their practice fields.
Seven schools from across Central Georgia challenged one another with throwing and defending pass drills simulated in game-like conditions. Coaches and players alike view this one-day camp as a way to gain an edge.
Camp started at 9 a.m. and wrapped up around four oclock in the afternoon. August 1st marks the first day high school programs can start practicing in full pads.
