LAGRANGEVILLE -- Anni Abbruzzese served the final three points, including two aces, as top-seeded Kennedy won its first Section 1 title, sweeping No. 7 Croton-Harmon, 25-14, 25-21, 25-8 in the Class C final today at Arlington.
Caroline Erb led the Gaels in kills with 16 and aces with four. Kennedy will face Section 9's Millbrook in the regional semifinals at Carmel Friday at 7 p.m. The Gaels split with Millbrook earlier this year at a tournament held at Carmel.
