GRAND LEDGE —

Five of the seven divisions of Grand Ledge Elite Cheerleading took ribbons at the Young Champions State competition for competitive Cheerleading.

All four of the advanced elite teams qualified to compete in the National Competition which is being held in Virginia Beach this year.

"We are so proud of our girls. They have worked so hard!" said Head Coach Rebecca Judd. "Our teams are growing so much, and we get better every year."

Competitive Cheerleading is the fastest growing sport in the nation. It combines dance, tumbling and stunting. Every team member is vital to the team and the performance.
