Week 5 Player of the Week Winners

South Doyle's senior class has experienced 0-10 and 1-9 seasons, but now the Cherokees are reaping the rewards of their hard work. South-Doyle is off to a 5-0 start and shutout Carter last Thursday, 23-0.

One of those seniors is linebacker Wes Raney. Raney claims our Defensive Player of the Week award after recording 10 tackles with two for loss in the shutout win over Carter.

Fulton looks like a legitimate 4A state title contender thanks to a massive offensive line and some explosive playmakers.

Daryl Rollins is one of those guys breaking the big plays and he is our Offensive Player of the Week.

Rollins carried the ball only six times, but he turned in 157 yards and a touchdown. He also returned a kick 86 yards for a score in the Falcons 42-7 win over Rhea County.
