Kevin Julian has resigned as the head football coach at Halls High School.
Julian told WBIR, "I was asked to resign as head football coach, and I did."
He will remain as a Physical Education teacher at Halls where he remains in excellent standing with the school and Knox County.
Kevin Julian played at Halls High School in the 80's and spent 17 of his 22 years coaching with the Red Devils, including the last seven as head coach.
Julian said he had offered to help the school in the transitional period as they search for a new head coach.
