It was a career night for both quarterback Charlie High and wide receiver Davis Howell.
Howell set the national career receptions record with 358 catches. The previous record was set at 349. Davis came into the day just six catches behind the record. He finished the game with 15 catches and two touchdowns.
High set a state record for career passing yards with 10,978 yards. He finished the day throwing 35-of-42, 461 yards, and six touchdowns. He was also named the championship game Offensive MVP for the second straight year.
