CAK begins its defense of its first state championship in the spotlight tonight, taking on Anderson County on 10News2.
The Warriors explosive offense scored at least 31 points in every game in 2011. CAK will return ten starters on offense including quarterback Charlie High and wide receiver Josh Smith, a Tennessee commit.
Anderson County won its final two regular season games last year to fight its way into the playoffs with a 5-5 record. The Mavericks then lost to Powell in the first round.
Quarterback Micah Hodge returns to lead the Anderson County offense which looks to be more balanced this season as opposed to the air-it-out attack featured in recent years.
The game can be seen on 10News2 on Comcast and Charter channel 21. Russell Biven will be on the call.
