JACKSONVILLE, FL -- At 16-2 the Bartram Trail Bears boys basketball team is off to the best start in the school's 13 year history.
This season the Bears are being led by Senior Guard Tyler Irish.
Irish is the Bears leading scorer averaging 17 points per game.
This past Saturday Irish scored a career high 30 points, knocking down eight three pointers in a loss to Bishop Kenny.
Bears head coach Chris Phelps says Irish is the heart and soul of the team.
Phelps also says Irish has an incredble work ethic and his game has improved year after year.
