In a recent poll conducted by First Coast News, Jo Bistrow, a junior at Providence, was voted as the best high school girls basketball player in the area.
Bistrow has scored more than 1,000 points in her career. This past season, she had the best three point percentage in the area at 52.5%. Her free throw percentage of 81.3 was second best in the area. She also averaged 19.9 points per game which ranked among the top 5 in the area.
