HILLIARD, Fla. -- The number-one ranked girls basketball team in 1A, the Hilliard Lady Flashes, took care of business at home Tuesday night against Branford, winning 68-41.
The Lady Flashes senior guard Bria Saunders had another big night scoring 25 points.
Our "Athlete of the Week" helped get her team one step closer to a return visit to the Lakeland and the Final Four.
Hilliard was eliminated in the Final Four last season by Newberry.
The Lady Flashes improved to 20-3 overall.
