Quarterback Jeff George of Indianapolis and defensive back Rod Woodson of Fort Wayne, Ind., are on USA Today's 30th anniversary "all-USA" high school football team.

Every all-USA player since 1982 was eligible. A USA Today writer chose the team based on the players' entire careers. George, from Warren Central High School, was chosen because he "played 13 NFL seasons and won the Sammy Baugh trophy at Illinois." Woodson, from Snider High School, is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and made 11 Pro Bowls.
