Cathedral High School basketball senior standout Collin Hartman could miss about a month after suffering a broken left wrist during Saturday's 68-63 win at Louisville Ballard.
Hartman scored a team-high 18 points in the game. He suffered the injury early in the fourth quarter when an opponent attempted to take a charge, Cathedral coach Andy Fagan said.
Hartman, who missed the season's first three games after suffering a concussion in practice the week of the opener, will have surgery today. He's likely to miss at least three weeks, depending on how the wrist heals.
Cathedral is 2-2 going into Saturday's game at Brebeuf Jesuit. Hartman, an Indiana recruit, was a core Indiana Junior All-Star last season as he averaged 14.9 points and 6.1 rebounds.
