Two area girls basketball stars were honored Thursday as Brownsburg's Stephanie Mavunga and Hamilton Southeastern's Taya Reimer were named to the rosters for the McDonald's All-American Game.

Mavunga, a North Carolina recruit, and Reimer (Notre Dame) will both play for the East team on April 3 at the United Center in Chicago.

For the third consecutive year, an Indiana recruit made the boys roster. Noah Vonleh, a 6-8 forward from New Hampton, N.H., was named to the East team. He will be joined by the lone in-state recruit, Mishawaka Marian guard Demetrius Jackson. The 6-1 Jackson is a Notre Dame commit.

There were 24 boys and 24 girls selected. Kentucky has five recruits on the boys roster.
