GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Grand Rapids Christian pulled away with a strong second half to beat Caledonia 38-21.
Logan Soule's interception return for a touchdown put the Fighting Scots up 7-0. A Ryan Zoet quarterback sneak gave Caledonia a 14-10 lead with just 18 seconds left in the first half. That was enough time for Alex Van De Vusse to hit Sam Kuiper for a touchdown, putting the Eagles ahead at halftime.
Van De Vusse scored on a QB keeper to make it 24-14 and the Eagles were never threatened again.
