1:00 AM, Sep. 29, 2012 EDT

In this showdown of District 4A-6 leaders, the Tigers' defense proved too much for the Cowboys. Dunbar limited LaBelle to 79 yards of offense and scored the first points of the game when it sacked Derek Bass for a safety.

Johnell Barnes caped a 8-play drive with a 5-yard touchdown catch from Daniel Cobbs with 5:47 left in the first quarter. Special teams kept LaBelle in the game as Kip Stansley returned the following kickoff 73 yards to for his team's only score.

Dunbar's Rante Baker led the Tigers with 121 yards rushing on 11 carries.

"He can tote the rock, that boy can run, and we are glad to give it to him," Dunbar coach Phil Vogt said of Baker.
