Three area players were named to the Associated Press all-state team, which was released on Friday.
St. Mary's Springs senior Matt Austin was one of two inside linebackers named first-team all-state.
On honorable mention were a pair of two-way stars in Springs' receiver/defensive back Eric Feldner and Laconia running back/linebacker Cody Moon.
The state's player of the year was Waukesha Catholic Memorial's Matt Hubley. Homestead's Dave Keel was named coach of the year.
