Ponderosa jumped on the host team early after a quick pin by Brett Erklenz over Broomfield's Conner Orban, but the Eagles stormed back immediately, and went on to get a big 40-22 win over the Mustangs.
Ponderosa entered the dual ranked No. 2 in 5A, while Broomfield was ranked No. 2 in 4A.
Connor Eakes, Drew Romero, Randall Baker, and Luke McAninch all gathered pins as they propelled Broomfield to their victory.
