Valor Christian and Cherokee Trail were scoreless midway in the 4th quarter when Christian McCaffrey scored from a yard out to give Valor Christian a 6-0 lead.
The Eagles added a lat field goal to win the game 9-0.
It was the fourth straight title for Valor Christian and the first in Class 5A.
They also won a championship in Class 3A and two titles in Class 4A.
After losing their first two games of the season the Eagles won twelve straight games to finish the season at 12-2.
