Boulder didn't have any trouble with Smoky Hill in the 5A state championship game, beating the hottest team in Colorado, 3-1. Lake Brant, scored what would be the game winning goal early in the second half to make it 2-0 and moments later, scored a second, which would secure Boulder's first state title in boys soccer.
