Entering the new year 4 high school hockey teams still had unblemished records. That number was cut to 2 after those 4 teams played one another Saturday night.
The defending champs, Regis Jesuit, moved to (7-0) after beating previously unbeaten Mountain Vista 2-0. The Golden Eagles are now (7-1).
And the Monarch Coyotes move to (6-0) with a 5-2 victory over Heritage. The Eagles fall to (6-1)
