Valor Christian beat D'Evelyn 79-77 Saturday night in a non-conference basketball game at D'Evelyn High School.
Chase Foster led the Eagles with 28 points including 2 crucial free throws in the final seconds that gave Valor the lead for good.
Luke Stratman scored 37 for D'Evelyn but it wasn't enough as the Jaguars fall to (8-1). They're in action again on the 9th when they play Conifer.
Valor improves to (10-2) and will play Aurora Central on the 8th.
