The Wheat Ridge Farmers lost just 1 game last year.
To accomplish that same feat they'll have to run the table the rest of the season.
Wheat Ridge fell 9-1 to Arvada West on Tuesday. Sure the Cats were playing down a classification but it is still a big win over 1 of the more successful programs in the state.
Mattie Buckhold was strong on the mound for the Cats and A-West had a 3-1 lead going in to the final inning.
Norene Rains, Bri Sandvilles, and Briget Heynen all had run scoring hits in a 6 running top of the 7th. Arvada West won the game 9-1.
