FORESTVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- In front of a raucous crowd in Forestville Tuesday night, the Bishop McNamara Mustangs cruised past the Georgetown Prep Hoyas, 69-56.
Senior Guard Jerron Martin led the Mustangs with 24 points and was clutch all night for McNamara, nailing big three after big three whenever his team needed a boost. Also for the Mustangs, senior forward Kevin Robbins scored 15 and grabbed eight rebounds while Siena commit Stephan Jiggetts was held to seven points on the night.
For Georgetown Prep, junior guard Brandon Green led the way with 14 points and 6 rebounds and seniors Alexander Lee and Billah Abdul-Jalaal both had double-doubles.
The win is the third straight for the Mustangs, who have been on a roll since dropping their season opener and the loss is the second straight for Prep against a WCAC team.
Georgetown Prep will be hosting the Heights School Friday night at 7:30 and the Mustangs will take on Eleanor Roosevelt at noon on Saturday in Forestville.
