Wildcats Hoping To Reload, Not Rebuild

12:35 AM, Aug. 01, 2012 EDT

Lexington, SC (WLTX) --- Scott Earley has gone 21-5 in his two seasons in Lexington, but those two years saw Earley have plenty of weapons at his disposal - not the least of which was receiver Shaq Roland who ended his career as the state's Mr. Football.

The 2012 Wildcats still have Will Hunter at the controls of the offense, but there is no receiver prospect who is being courted by every major Division One program in the southeast.

So does that mean Lexington will be in a rebuilding mode in 2012? Not if Earley has anything to say about it. The coach has seen a workmanlike attitude from his team in the early stages of preseason and hopes that approach, combined with a solid gameplan on Friday nights, will find the Wildcats peaking in November and potentially December.
