COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Bishop England capped an undefeated season with a 43-41 comeback victory over Columbia to win South Carolina's Class 2A girls championship Saturday. Michelle Boykin scored 18 points and gave Bishop England (28-0) its first lead since 2-0 with a jumper in the land with 1:07 to go. The Bishops trailed by 10 points in the opening half before rallying. Bishop England held on despite missing three of four foul shots in the last minute. The Capitals had a chance to win, but Norrisha Victrum's three-point try hit the front rim as the buzzer sounded at the Colonial Life Arena. Columbia (21-5) was called for an offensive foul, had a turnover and Victrum's missed shot on its last three possessions. Victrum and Dorothy Brown had 12 points each for the Capitals.
