With just over three minutes remaining in the second quarter Weir got his second field goal of the game. He drove to the basket and laid in a running one hander to reach the magic mark.

Weir told Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar "I've got the best parents and coaches around me to celebrate with me and it was nice to get it here." Next season Weir will play college basketball for Canisius college.

Weir added "getting that win was the main focus and to get the one thousandth point with that win can't put it any better."

Crusaders head coach Kyle Husband told Stu "I've been doing this for a little while now and they don't make them any better than Adam. He works so hard he deserved it and to do it on this stage is that much better for him."
