BUFFALO, N.Y.-What looked like a blowout after one quarter turned into a thrilling game Friday night at Holy Angels. Sacred Heart beat Holy Angels 55-49.
The Sharks led 19-4 after one quarter but by the end of the third quarter Holy Angels had the lead 43-40. However in the end Sacred Heart was able to remain unbeaten so far this season.
Sacred Heart's # 24 La'trice Hall led the way with 15 points and 12 rebounds. # 25 Hannah Rehbaum had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
For Holy Angels # 5 Jontay Walton had 28 points despite scoring just two points in the first quarter.
Sacred Heart improves to 7-0 on the season. Next up for the Sharks is a game against Mt. Mercy.
