McKinley 73-Middle College 60

BUFFALO, N.Y.-McKinley beat Middle College 73-60 Friday night in a Yale Cup matchup at the Flickinger Center.

The Macks had four players in double figures including leading scorer # 1 Lavelle Smith with 21. Teammates #15 Marcus Morris added 17, and #5 Reyjzon Jordan had 15.

The Macks jumped on the Kats to start the second half, out scoring Middle College 20-10 in the third quarter. McKinley Head Coach Zaire Dorsey said "We came out with a lot of intensity. I was most impressed with our role players tonight."

After Mckinley's big second half run the Kats were never able to recover, dropping to 8-4 overall, and 4-3 in Yale Cup league play. Middle College's top scorer was #2 Keir Anderson, who finished the game with 20 points.

McKinley improves to 11-3 overall, and 8-0 in the Yale Cup. The next game for McKinley is East, on Tuesday at 6 PM at McKinley.
