Kenmore West 57-Lewiston Porter 27

KENMORE, N.Y.-Kenmore West smothered Lewiston Porter Friday night in boys basketball 57-27.

Blue Devils head coach Mike Meetze was thrilled with his team's defensive effort. The Blue Devils held the Lancers to just four first half points. They led 36-4 at halftime. Meetze told Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar ""we held them to four points in the first half. That's pretty awesome defense. I've never seen anything like that. Its pretty impressive. Shay Cuadra (#3) was great. He had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 6 assists and played awesome defense." West also got 14 points from the big man # 32 Quinton Campbell.

Meetze added "it wa a good bounce back game after just beating Kenmore East. I hope it helps get us ready for Niagara Falls next Tuesday. We're both undefeated in league play." Both teams are 4-0 in the league. Kenmore West is 6-2 overall.
