BUFFALO, N.Y.-In a Yale Cup matchup Tuesday evening East beat Bennett 69-59.
With the win East improves to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in league play. Junior Jonathon Lewis # 1 led East with 21 points. Sophomore # 11 Percy Bryant had 19. For Bennett the top scorer was # 2 A.J. Ayala who led all scorers with 23 points.
East head coach Starling Bryant told Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar "I liked our transition game. I didn't like our defense. I liked the way we competed hard in the fourth quarter. Our intensity was good in the final quarter."
East is home Thursday night against South Park.
