1:39 AM, Nov. 18, 2012 EST

ROCHESTER, N.Y.-Maine-Endwell scored first and would never look back as they dominated Alden 49-14 in a Class B Semifinal at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester.

The Spartans made it into the red-zone five times in the first half, scoring on four of those drives to carry a 27-0 lead into the halftime. Maine-Endwell also maintained control of the ball as they won the time of possession battle holding the ball for 25:11 of the game compared to Alden's 17:33.

Justin Jacoby of Mount-Endwell counted for a lot of the scoring as he ran for three touchdowns. He had 116 yards on the day on 14 carries. #21 Nick Sorrenti had 128 yards on 19 carries including a touchdown run of 13-yards with 7:28 to go in the second half.

In his final game as a Bulldog #21 Corey Barczykowski had 116 yards on 14 carries and a touchdown. He won't let this game take away from his high school career and what makes it all special. "All the great moments you spend with your entire team, it's an awesome feeling," says Barczykowski. "It's what high school football is all about."

By the time Barczykowski scored his touchdown in the fourth quarter the game was already out of hand as the Spartans owned a 49-0 lead. "I'm disappointed but surprised," says Alden Head Coach Dick Diminuco. "We struggled up front today and we haven't done that for the previous 11 games and I guess that's when you win or lose football games."

Alden's undefeated season comes to an end with a record of 11-1. Maine-Endwell will move on to the Class B finals against Glen Falls next week Saturday, November 24 at 3 p.m. That game will be played at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.
