SUWANEE, Ga. -- After making a return to the post season in 2011, the Peachtree Ridge Lions are gearing up for more in 2012.
In 2011 the Lions went 8-3, 6-1 in the region, but ended the season with loses to North Gwinnett and Brookwood in the first round of the state playoffs.
The Lions will kickoff the 2012 season on August 25 at 5:30 in the Georgia Dome, against Camden County in the Corkey Kell Classic. Then Peachtree Ridge will take on a tough region 7-AAAAAA that will include a new face this fall.
