Chamblee, Columbia, Southwest DeKalb and Druid Hills can reach the state playoffs with victories this weekend while Miller Grove needs a win and some help to reach the postseason.

Chamblee (8-1) which suffered its first loss of the season at the hands of No. 2 ranked Marist last week can be the No. 3 seed out of Region 6-AAAA with a win over Washington (7-2) on Saturday in a game set for 7:30 p.m. at North DeKalb Stadium. A loss would eliminate Chamblee from the playoffs.

Columbia (5-4) faces a do or die situation today (Friday) as the Eagles face Grady (7-2) at Grady Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

Druid Hills (4-5) is looking to break a 56 year playoff drought on the road against Rockdale County tonight at 7:30 p.m. The Red Devils' last state playoff appearance came in 1956 and last postseason appearance came in 1985 in a sub region playoff loss to Campbell. Druid Hills could earn the No. 3 seed out of Region 2-AAAAAA with the victory.

The Miller Grove Wolverines (6-3) need a win over No. 2 ranked Martin Luther King Jr. (9-0) tonight at Panthersville Stadium at 7:30 to have a chance at Class AAAAA state playoff berth. Miller Grove would need wins by Dunwoody against Southwest DeKalb and Tucker against Mays to earn its first ever playoff berth.

Southwest DeKalb (6-3) would secure a playoff berth with a victory over Dunwoody (1-8) in Region 6-AAAAA. A loss would open the door for Miller Grove if the Wolverines are victorious against M.L. King.

Cedar Grove (6-3), Tucker (7-2), M.L. King (9-0) and Stephenson (6-2) have secured state playoff berths. Cedar Grove can earn a first round playoff home contest with a win over Blessed Trinity (7-2) on the road tonight.

M.L. King is already assured of the No. 1 seed out of Region 6-AAAAA and a first round home game along with No. 2 seed Stephenson.
