CHARLOTTE - Malique O'Neil gained 132 yards on 31 attempts for the Titans (8-4). Olympic scored at least one touchdown in every quarter.
Sun Valley 37, Roberson 31
SKYLAND - The Rams seemed to have this game in hand until Albert Funderburke scored twice in the final 2-1/2 minutes -- including a 69-yard touchdown sprint as time expired to complete the comeback.
Funderburke had four touchdowns for Sun Valley (8-3).
Noah Suber threw a touchdown pass and rushed for a pair of first-quarter scores as Roberson (9-2) led by 15 early but could never put Sun Valley away.
Statesville 65, Enka 12
STATESVILLE - The Greyhounds (11-1) returned a first-quarter fumble 99 yards to begin breaking the game open, and Enka never recovered.
The Jets (5-7) scored on Tommie Holloway's 70-yard pass reception from Dustin Waldrop and on a 3-yard run by Chris Carver.
Freedom 42, Franklin 14
MORGANTON - All the scoring took place before halftime as Franklin's season came to an abrupt end.
Marquel Manning had 169 rushing yards and both touchdowns for the Panthers (8-4).
David Burgess scored three touchdowns to lead Freedom (10-2).
Madison 62, Mountain Heritage 7
The Cougars simply could not stop Madison's Tyler Hoffman. He scored four touchdowns and racked up 156 rushing yards on 17 totes. Three of Hoffman's scores came as the Patriots (11-1) seized control in the third quarter with 34 unanswered points. Trevor Robinson passed for 119 yards and a touchdown to lead Mountain Heritage (4-7).
Pisgah 49, Smoky Mountain 28
CANTON - Pisgah rushed for 345 yards and pulled away from the Mustangs to advance into the second round of the playoffs.
Pisgah's Dustin Messer ran for a team-high 108 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown with 6:22 left in the game. Josh Noland added 78 rushing yards and two touchdowns for the Bears (6-5), who will play against South Iredell next week. Garrett Holland had two touchdowns and 61 yards rushing yards for Pisgah, and McKinley Brown scored on a 55-yard run and finished with 84 yards on four carries.
Chace Morgan led the Mustangs (4-8) with 219 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.
Owen 35, Draughn 6
VALDESE - Jager Gardner rushed 20 times for 172 yards and four touchdowns to pace Owen to a victory over Draughn.
The Warhorses (6-6) took a 28-0 halftime lead on Gardner's TD runs of 20 and 12 yards in the first quarter, and 4 and 17 yards in the second period.
Cole Leighten ran 49 yards for a TD late in the game to close out the scoring for Owen.
The homestanding Wildcats finished the season with a 5-7 record.
Swain 68, East Wilkes 22
BRYSON CITY - Raymius Smith threw four first-quarter touchdown passes to help the Maroon Devils (12-0) put this one away early.
Swain spread around its 261 rushing yards among 11 players. Blake Wright led the Devils' ground game with 54 yards and three scores.
Hendersonville 61, North Wilkes 13
HENDERSONVILLE - Desean Jackson scored four touchdowns and finished with 182 yards on 22 carries for the Bearcats (11-1).
Quarterback Grant Rivers scored twice and rushed for 111 yards on 13 attempts for the Bearcats, who compiled 433 yards of offense.
Rosman 26, Thomas Jefferson 14
MOORESBORO - Duran Scruggs rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns, then he picked off a pass in the end zone with just over two minutes remaining to help the Tigers (6-6) advance.
Caleb Rice added 41 rushing yards and two scores for Rosman.
For Thomas Jefferson (6-6), Will McCraw had 116 rushing yards.
Lake Norman Charter 48, Avery 0
Luke Childress rushed for 81 yards for Avery (3-9), but it wasn't enough to hang with Lake Norman Charter (10-1).
Murphy 69, Cherokee 20
MURPHY - Bradley Puccio returned the opening kickoff 65 yards for a touchdown for the defending 1-A champion Bulldogs (10-2).
Gage Cox ran for two touchdowns for Murphy, which had a 55-12 lead at halftime.
Tyler Wiley scored one touchdown on a 23-yard run and returned an interception 41 yards for another and Dalton Kent threw two scoring passes for the Bulldogs.
Logan Woodard threw two touchdown passes and scored on a 69-yard run for Cherokee (3-8).
Robbinsville 12, Hayesville 8
ROBBINSVILLE - Spencer McCoy ran 12 yards for a touchdown with 5:02 remaining to give Robbinsville a comeback win over Hayesville.
The Black Knights (9-3) trailed 8-0 entering the fourth quarter before Skylar Matheson scored on a 57-yard run 12 seconds into the period. McCoy then put Robbinsville ahead to stay at the 5:02 mark.
Dylan Williams' 7-yard TD run with 4:56 left in the third quarter opened the scoring. Day Day Williams ran for the two-point conversion to give the Yellowjackets (4-7) an 8-0 lead.
Caleb Nuckolls led Hayesville with 115 yards rushing on 24 carries.
Christ School 75, Wake Christian 6
ARDEN - Eric Davis had two interception returns for touchdowns in the first half, including a back-breaking 98-yarder 12 seconds before halftime, to help the Greenies pull away.
Davis also caught a 51-yard touchdown pass from Christian Jewkes in the third quarter.
Jewkes threw three touchdown passes for the Greenies (11-0). Charles Beale rushed for 112 yards and one touchdown for Christ School/
Christ School (11-0) set a school record for victories and will host North Raleigh Christian in a semifinal game next week.
