THE WINNER: Troy Williams

THE BASICS

Height: 6-foot-6
Weight: 190 pounds

Athletic achievement: Williams has led the Warriors to a 33-5 record and a berth in the National High School Invitational, scheduled to begin April 4. Williams is averaging 16.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals through 38 games. A Jordan Brand Classic selection, Williams has recorded a pair of triple-doubles this season, including 22 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in a 98-58 win over Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, N.C.).

Academic excellence: Williams has maintained a B average.

Exemplary character: He has volunteered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula in his hometown of Hampton in addition to donating his time as a youth basketball coach and counselor.
