THE BASICS

School: Centennial (Las Vegas, Nev.)
Grade: Senior
Position: Guard
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 185 pounds

Athletic achievementHe averaged 28 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.6 assists this past season, leading the Bulldogs (23-10) to the Division I state final. A two-time First Team All-State selection, Allen scored a game-high 37 points in an 87-72 win over Canyon Springs (Las Vegas, Nev.) in the Division I semifinals. He scored at least 30 points in 14 of Centennial’s games this season.

Academic excellence: Allen has maintained a 4.0 GPA and will graduate as co-valedictorian of his class.

Exemplary characterHe has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics, the Boys and Girls Club of America and has served on his school’s student council.
