Vivians scores 62 points to lead Scott Central past Lake

Junior forward has one of the American Family Insurance ALL-USA performances of the week

Scott Central (Forest, Miss.) forward Victoria Vivians averaged 37 points per game and was named the Gatorade Mississippi Player of the Year as a sophomore last season. Vivians hasn't exactly experienced a junior slump.

The 5-foot-11 Vivians, who is undeclared, scored a career-high 62 points in a 69-67 win over Lake (Miss.) on Friday. She followed that up with 41 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks in a 59-53 win over Forest (Miss.). For her efforts, Vivians was named one of the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Performers of the Week. Here are some of the week's other top perfomers, in alphabetical order.

Scored a career-high 33 points, including five 3-pointers, in a 56-37 win over Shippensburg. Scored 24 points the following day to lead Gettysburg to a 39-33 win over South Western.

Scored 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds and six blocks in a 42-40 win over Lincoln-Sudbury on Friday.

Dai'ja Thomas, Skyline (Dallas)

Scored 25 points and had 13 rebounds, five steals and two blocks in a win over W.T. White (Dallas) on Friday. Scored 17 points with six rebounds in a win over Richardson (Texas) last Tuesday.

Anders Broman, Lakeview Christian Academy (Duluth, Minn.)

The senior, who recently set the all-time state scoring record and was honored in Duluth with "Anders Broman Day," scored 57 points in a win over New Life Academy (Woodbury, Minn.).

Scored 47 points on 17-of-21 shooting in a 91-86 overtime loss to Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, Calif.).

Blocked 15 shots in a 74-43 win over Central (St. Paul, Minn.).
